n 1996, Lessard Welding registered to CAN.Z-299 through the Quality Management System, (QMI) a division of CSA, Canadian Standards Association.

In 1998, Lessard Welding upgraded to ISO 9002-1994 standards.  This quality management system was implemented and audited by QMI.

In November of 2001, Lessard Welding is one of the first to successfully upgrade to the 2000 standards.  An audit is performed annually to assure the maintenance of our quality management system. Click Here to view a copy of our Certificate.

QUALITY POLICY
It is the policy of Lessard Welding to provide superior quality products and services that meet recognized industry standards and the specific requirements of our customers; continually improve the effectiveness of the quality system; and provide a framework for establishing and reviewing quality objectives during the annual management review.

This policy is introduced to all personnel and reviewed annually during the management review with the understanding of continual improvement, suitability, customer satisfaction and measurable objectives.

QUALITY OBJECTIVES
Lessard Welding's quality objectives shall be established for each relevant function and level as identified in the scope of work through nonconformances, customer complaints and product delivery. They shall also be measurable and consistent with the quality policy as identified in the quality records through reduction of nonconformances and customer complaints, increase profit margins and successful quotes. The objectives are to include what is needed to meet the requirements of the product and/or service and the expectations and needs of our customers through quality products, after sales service and technical support.

QUALITY PLANNING
Top management ensures that the resources needed to achieve the quality objectives are identified and planned. The output of planning shall be documented and shall include exclusion of quality management system requirements that will not affect the organization's ability to provide products and/or services; the resources needed; and continual improvement of the quality management system.

Planning will ensure that changes are conducted in a controlled manner and that the integrity of the quality management system is maintained.
